Wire Art Workshop ( for 7 - 11 year olds)

The Wire Art Workshop is a fantastic opportunity for children to explore their creativity using new and exciting materials. Guided by Michael, they will learn how to shape soft, bendable wire to create their very own unique designs.

Children will start by experimenting with easy-to-shape wire to create things like glasses and butterflies.

Later, Michael will introduce pre-shaped car parts, and together, they will assemble a toy car entirely made from wire.

By the end of the session, each child will take home their very own handmade wire toy, making for a fun and memorable experience.

Workshop Running Order

• 12:30pm - 1:00pm: Use wire to create wearable glass frames or an insect

• 1:00pm - 1:15pm: Break Time

• 1:15pm - 1:45pm: work together to make a big wire car

Parents that are able to, are encouraged to make donations to help Michael cover the cost of materials. Have a look below to see what your donation can do.

• £attending will prove that the clubs are worth doing

• £1 per participant could help cover some of the cost

• £3 per participant could help cover a lot of the costs

• £5 per participant could help cover cost of all materials, Michael's travel cost and possibly pay him a small fee for his time.
