Puppet Show Course (for 7 - 11 yr olds)

Service Description

In this exciting four-week course, children will dive into the magical world of puppetry! Guided by Michael, they'll design, build, and bring to life their very own hand puppets using a range of materials. The course encourages storytelling, imaginative play, and creative collaboration. Week 1 – Puppet Making: Children will experiment with different materials to create their unique puppets. Week 2 – Finishing Touches & Stage Design: Puppets get their final features, while children also begin to work together to create a vibrant stage set for the puppet show. Week 3 – Puppet Show Performance & Filming: With their puppets and stage ready, children will use their puppets to tell stories in a live stage puppet show. The performances will be filmed using two cameras. Week 4 – Editing & Final Showcase: Children will work with Michael to edit puppet show videos on iPads, adding sound effects and music. The course wraps up with a mini screening where children can proudly watch their puppet performance on screen. Each child will take home their custom-made puppet and a memory full of fun, laughter, and creativity!
