Animation Course (for 7 - 11 yr olds)

Service Description

Join us for a fun-filled four-week journey into the world of animation! In Week 1, children will create their own characters using a variety of craft materials, guided by Michael. In Week 2, they’ll work together to design and build colourful background sets to bring their characters’ world to life. In Week 3, children will learn how to animate their creations by capturing small movements frame-by-frame using cameras. In Week 4, Michael will guide them through the process of compiling their images on an iPad or laptop to turn their photos into a real stop-motion animation. This course encourages imagination, storytelling, teamwork, and problem-solving - all while introducing young creators to the exciting art of animation in a fun and hands-on way. All materials will be provided. Session Frequency This is a 4 week course. 1 session per week.
